1. ContactJoAnn Roberts via E-mail and let her know that you would like web space.

2. Your group is responsible for providing HTML coded pages for inclusion on this site. Transgender Forum will NOT provide the HTML coding for your pages. That is your job. We do allow a reasonable amount of art, but keep in mind that the intention here is to let people in your area know what your group offers and that our free space is limited.

3. Once we've set up your account, we will email your username and password to you. You may then ftp your files into place.

4. If you already have a website hosted somewhere else, you are not eligible for a link here.

5. If you already own a domain name and want to move to our server, there is an annual fee of $60. Why? A domain name "consumes" an IP number. IP numbers are not free. We have to buy them. If you "consume" one of our IP numbers, you must pay for it.

Terms & Conditions

This location is strictly for bona fide nonprofit or not-for-profit organizations. You may be asked to show some proof of this. You do NOT have to be an official 501[c][3] tax-exempt charity under US tax laws.

These pages are intended to provide information about your organization. As such we limit the kinds of activities allowed in the Community Center:

1. You are permitted to solicit memberships and/or subscriptions to in-house publications such as a newsletter.

2. You are permitted to advertise events, but only if your organization is the host for the event.

3. You are NOT permitted to host advertising, i.e., banner ads or lists that link to commercial websites. We do permit NON-COMMERCIAL links/banners for a group's LOCAL resources, and text-only (non-linked) lists of commercial OR competitive sites of a group's LOCAL resources. No connections are permitted to national or global sites from inside our servers.

4. You are not permitted to list commercial and/or competitive websites, i.e., sites that substantially duplicate TGForum content (including resources) or the content of TGForum clients, on Links pages. Links pages should be used to point readers to local resources.

5. You are not permitted to engage in other commercial activities, including, but not limited to, offering commercial items for sale, or any other activity that competes with a TGForum commercial client.

6. You are not permitted to post information that substantially duplicates information provided by TGForum or the TGForum Resource Center.

Accepting a site and posting pages in the TGForum Community Center constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in removal of your pages from the Community Center. Remember that TGForum is your host. Please don't abuse our hospitality.
